There is a new sunset photo now available as a stunning metal print. It’s an incredible sunset viewed from the top of The Watchman at Crater Lake National Park.
My family and I had done a day trip to Crater Lake at the end of summer. It was one last trip before the kids went back to school.
We spent the day exploring and driving around Crater Lake. As the day started to recede into dusk we decided to climb the 7881 ft (2402 m) tall The Watchman and check out the views of Crater Lake.
At the top is a historic fire lookout with 360 degree views. The sun was starting to set now and it gave us quite a show.
We watched the shadow of the peak cast across Crater Lake grow larger and larger and then turned to catch the orange glow as the sun dipped behind the horizon.
Now you can enjoy the same scene as a metal print hanging on your wall. It’s second only to the real deal.
